I didn’t see this one coming. Is it a good thing? Is it a bad thing?
First, make no mistake, this was a US attack on Iran using Israel as a proxy. They used US made aircraft and bombs, they used US satellites, US radar systems, and US personnel to man the “iron dome” missile defense systems. To invoke the vernacular, we are balls deep in this attack, and you can bet the Iranians, the Russians, and the Chinese (and the rest of the world) know this full well.
I guess the neocon warmongers finally got the upper hand with Trump. The rationale is that Iran was “a few weeks or days, whatever,” away from having a nuclear weapon. Bullshit. They’ve been saying the same thing for the last 20 years. Forgive me for not trusting the war hawks who lied us into Iraq and Afghanistan. I’m no fan of Iran or extremist Muslims in general, but unless they can show some verifiable legit documentation showing these idiots were actually close to building a nuke, I’m skeptical.
But now that we’re in it, I’m fully on board with protecting our people and interests including our Israeli partners. Having gone this far, we should turn Tehran into a glass parking lot and kill every official above the rank of sergeant. We should then support local republican adherents and encourage elections. What color should this revolution be?
According to most reporting, the attacks were effective. The Iranian response was neutered because their radar systems were one of the first targets. This is good news because they will have a difficult time targeting US assets. As of this writing they have managed to land a few strikes into Israel and they’ve caused significant damage, but most of the missiles were shot out of the sky before they hit any targets. Israel is reporting no deaths as of this morning (but the Pride Parade was cancelled out of an abundance of caution).
The best case scenario would be the Iranians admitting defeat and making a peace agreement, or more optimistically, the Iranian people overthrowing the mullahs and a constitutional republic coming into being. Not likely. Worst case scenario would be Russia and/or China involving themselves by helping Iran. That could be WWIII. Anything between those two outcomes is possible.
Let’s pray for restraint and peace and reassess next week. Let’s also hope that none of the 5th columnists in America decide to get froggy in support of their friends in Iran. This would be a good weekend to avoid large gatherings.
Enjoy Your Goofy Parade Today…
Regular readers know that I think this is a stupid idea. But it only cost 45 million of your great grandchildren’s dollars, so what the hell, right?
There is No Statute of Limitations for Murder…
Ashli Babbit’s family settled with the US government for 5 million.
We need a grand jury for her murderer and those who shielded him from prosecution all these years. Being a Capital Police Officer does not exempt you from following the same rules as the rest of us. Any other cop would have been prosecuted successfully for what he did. Just ask Derek Chauvin.
When cops are not held to account it reflects poorly on the judicial system, the profession, and all the officers who do it right day in and day out.
Communists Obstructing ICE; Rioting in Los Angeles…
The National Guard has been mobilized, and the Marines at Camp Pendleton are on alert.
And, of course, the legacy media is sympathetic to the criminals.
One of the communists brought an infant to the riot/insurrection, and the child got tear gas in her eyes. Predictable. Look for them to use this tactic even more in the future. The Mother/caretaker of the child should be prosecuted for neglect.
Regular readers will not be surprised by these events and the more violent events to come over the course of this endeavor. There will be deaths, both law enforcement and commie.
If we fail, if we give up on this mission, your progeny will live in a third world shit-hole under a communist dictatorship. These invaders are an existential threat. Here’s a guy who gets it.
Having a leader who celebrates virility and athletic competition is good for the nation. It is inspiring. It sets a tone. It pushes a culture of discipline and achievement.
College Sports Will be the Same…
A settlement has been reached, and now college athletes will be paid.
On the one hand, they should get paid because they work really hard and risk serious injury to put on a show which generates insane amounts of money for their institutions. Because of this, colleges have recruited low IQ morons to play. It’s been like this for quite a while. These are not students who play sports. These are professional athletes who pretend to be students.
At least now there is no pretense.
The door for walk-on type legitimate student athletes has been nailed shut.
I have not watched football since I was 12 years old anyway, so what do I care?
Conservative Colombian Candidate Shot…
The cowardly little communist snuck up behind him and shot him in the head. (Graphic)
Political violence is sort of the norm in third world countries, so it’s not earthshaking news. But it does illustrate how violent rhetoric can embolden extremists to act out violently. This can happen anywhere. Just look at the two assassination attempts on Trump, the United Health Care murder, and the most recent violence by the Muslim extremist in Colorado.
The revolutionary left is at war with us (the normal, decent, religious, traditional minded, sane people who want to just mind our own business and live life in a constitutional republic). The sooner we recognize that it is untenable to share space (geographic or political) with them, the sooner things will get better for everyone. They cannot be reasoned with, so that kind of narrows down the potential solutions…
He’s a zebra.
He’s an extortionist.
