An End to the Israel-Hamas War???
They have reached a deal based on President Trump’s 20 point plan. Israel has withdrawn troops. The remaining hostages should be released by tomorrow or Tuesday. We’ll see. We’ll also see about the other 18 points of the plan.
This is all well and good for now, but the problem has not been solved, far from it. Trump and his types are banking that prosperity will salve the wounds. This is a miscalculation. Neither side will ever coexist peacefully with the other no matter how much money gets thrown at it. The tit-for-tat atrocities stretch back for 100 years.
And worse, this one lands in the loss column for Israel and her stupid big brother, America. Hamas is still very much extant, and world opinion of Israel and the US has never been lower, despite the praise being given to Trump for negotiating the deal.
We’ve spent billions supporting Israel over the last 70 years, and we don’t have much good to show for it (other than the fact that Israel still exists). Younger Americans recognize this, and they are not going to support Israel nearly as much (if at all) as they come to power over the next several years. They don’t really care if Israel exists or not, and many are openly hostile to Israel (considering them “oppressors”). Without American money and arms, there is little hope for the Zionist project longer term.
Lastly, the US is sending 200 troops to monitor the ceasefire. They are primarily logistics types who will facilitate moving material into Gaza in order to provide humanitarian relief. Supposedly, they will not enter Gaza themselves, but they will be exposed. This is concerning. If they get attacked and things go kinetic again, it could drag us in even further.
One can imagine that Israeli intelligence has considered this.
Trump Flirting with Assisting Ukraine with Long Range Strikes…
How is this America first?
We’ve already been helping with intelligence on some of Ukraine’s longer range drone attacks. Now the talk is about sending them tomahawk missiles.
If approved, these strikes will likely hit targets in and around Moscow. Do you think the Russians are going to come running to the negotiating table looking to make a deal? This is another miscalculation, and it could have lethal fallout.
Some enterprising reporter should ask the President to articulate what strategic American interests are at stake in this conflict. I can’t think of any, and neither can anyone else. And if there is no strategic interest, why then are we sending them weapons and money? Seems like a stupid policy to me.
Is the Federal Government Shut Down???

The issue is health care subsidies. The Communists want to extend them (or make them permanent), and the Republican Communists want to let them expire.
These subsidies would not be needed except for Obamacare. Everyone’s health care costs skyrocketed when the ACA was passed. The ACA was intended as a sneaky way to make you pay for other people’s health care. It is not a sustainable model without the subsidies.
The answer is to repeal the ACA, allow à la carte policies, allow insurance companies to compete across state lines, and most importantly, enact fair and meaningful tort reform. Health care is expensive because too many lawyers (and insurers) have their noses in the trough.
Rules concerning folks with preexisting conditions can be hammered out in a fair and relatively inexpensive way as well so that there will be no refusal of coverage.

They are violent communist revolutionaries, and this designation is long overdue. Treat them like the KKK. Infiltrate them, gather evidence, and prosecute the crap out of them.

This is why we have and must respect the supremacy clause. If New York wants to let illiterate, poorly trained, third world illegals with no name drive big trucks on the roads in New York, that’s fine with me. But I don’t want them driving on the roads my family drives on here in Georgia.
Important Case to be Heard Next Week…
The SCOTUS will revisit a case out of Louisiana which seeks to end race based congressional districting. If the court agrees with Louisiana, the communists will lose seats in the house.
There really is no good way to draw congressional district lines but using race as a factor should be considered abhorrent in America in 2025.
Consider Canceling Your Mexican Vacation…
There has long been an understanding among the cartels that they would not target tourists in Mexico. The industry is worth billions, and the cartels get a big cut of it. Apparently, a faction of the Sinaloa cartel has announced it will begin targeting Americans. I suspect the other cartels will not be happy about this. Either way, I’d avoid traveling to Mexico anytime soon.
